About our Ranch
Twisted Oak Ranch is bringing the finest in whitetail deer hunting to you. We strive to combine the best genetics program, good food, and accommodations central Texas has to offer. In an average weekend, a hunter at Twisted Oak Ranch will see 10/15whitetail bucks. Additionally, the Ranch has an array of wildlife including axis deer, blackbuck antelope, fallow deer, bobcats, wild hogs and coyotes. Our ranch caters to both hunters and non-hunters in your group – our diverse wildlife is matched by the dining and outdoor firepit and indoor accommodations that comfortably sleep six.
Location
Twisted Oak Ranch is located in Calvert, Texas; situated halfway between Bryan-College Station and Waco. Conveniently located, you can easily get to Twisted Oak Ranch from Austin, Houston, or either airport in Dallas.
Calvert is in the Post Oak Savannah Ecoregion of Texas, characterized by its gently rolling elevations with over 5,000 species of trees and wildflowers.
In addition to these attributes, Twisted Oak Ranch hosts five lakes for fishing and eight deer blinds for hunting.
